AV Jennings signed an ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) agreement with us for the completion of the final construction documentation of this project in parallel with construction of the single level basement. We provided ‘buildability advice’ and agreed a mutually acceptable target budget for construction works. Following completion of documentation this was tendered to subcontractors. The tender resulted in a price at the agreed budget and a design & construct contract was signed for a fixed lump sum for delivery of the balance of the works. The project comprised a high quality apartment complex consisting of 92 apartments over 10 levels. A key project requirement was a blast-proof façade due to the proximity of the building to a fuel tank facility at the adjacent shipping yard. The façade also featured curved GRC feature planters.
